Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide will assist the Dietary Manager preparing and serving food to the facilities residents.

Requirements:

Essential Functions:

Ensure high level sanitary conditions in both the kitchen and dining premises.
Must be able to follow instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards.
Must be competent and conscientious with a customer-oriented approach.
Set up tables and other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
Prepare meals under the supervision of the dietary manager and/or cook.
Take down dining areas and collect place settings and glassware.
Discard leftover food and take out garbage.
Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware.
Maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
